The reason more logical (or physical) disk volumes is better is because the
ADSM server will assign an additional server thread to each volume defined
on the server. More threads = faster performance.
If you have a 4.5GB disk, create 2 logical volumes on it. If you have a
9.1GB disk, then it's a trade off whether you decide to create only 2
logical volumes or go with 3 or 4 (many more ADSM volumes to manage).
