Hi
Since we upgraded to ADSM 3.1.2.40 our AIX servers the NT clients are
backing up a lot slowwweer. We are using 16Mb/s Token Ring and we schedule
the backups to occur during the night where there is no network trafic.
Before the upgrade the backups would take half the time. I don't know what
the transfer rates were but now I have:

09/01/1999 08:51:15 Total number of objects inspected: 6,151
09/01/1999 08:51:15 Total number of objects backed up: 2,776
09/01/1999 08:51:15 Total number of objects updated: 5
09/01/1999 08:51:15 Total number of objects rebound: 0
09/01/1999 08:51:15 Total number of objects deleted: 4
09/01/1999 08:51:15 Total number of objects failed: 0
09/01/1999 08:51:15 Total number of bytes transferred: 661.55 MB
09/01/1999 08:51:15 Data transfer time: 28,415.84 sec
09/01/1999 08:51:15 Network data transfer rate: 23.83 KB/sec
09/01/1999 08:51:15 Aggregate data transfer rate: 21.22 KB/sec
09/01/1999 08:51:15 Objects compressed by: 49%
09/01/1999 08:51:15 Elapsed processing time: 08:51:55

Can anyone with the same environment share some transfer rates with me or
suggest what can be my bottle neck

Thanks,
Gabriel Vieira
