we are planning a new ADSM-environment on IBM RS6000 (H70). Which average
data-throughput per second (uncompressed) is in your experience possible
with following hardware-features.

H70 (dualprocessor, 512MB memory)
SSA-Subsystem
3590E-drives (SCSI)
network: FastEthernet

the following alternatives (average-throughput) are interesting for us:

a) Client (WindowsNT-NTFS-Filesystem; flat files, FastEthernet) =>
Server-SSA -Pool (backups)
b) Client (SAP-Databases by backint on WindowsNT, FastEthernet) => Server
3590E-drives (backups)
c) Server (SSA-Pool) => Server 3590E-drives (migration)
