My site has a 3.1.2.20 server running under MVS. We have two 3590 tape drives
used for creating offsite copies, and have organized our 'backup stgpool'
operations into two streams. Until yesterday one stream finished hours before
the other. I rearranged the assignment of storage pools to the two streams to
even up the workload. The ADSM server crashed yesterday morning. I was able to
restart the server and restart the two streams successfully. The server
crashed again this morning, and then crashed a third time within minutes of
restarting the server and the two streams. We are now reduced to waiting for
one stream to finish before starting the second one.

One of my co-workers has been searching IBMLink but has not found anything
that looks like a match for our problem. Do the above symptoms look familiar
to anybody?
