In the dsm.opt file on the client you must set the DOMain to
Domain  <dirve you want to backup>
So if you don´t want to backup the d: drive but you do want to backup the
C: and E: drives it would look like this:

Domain c: e:

The standard setup in the .opt file is:  Domain all-local           this
will backup all drives on the node
