I think the whole List would appreciate it if those having problems with
subscriptions would write directly to the List administrator:

List administrators do not read the Lists they maintain: they don't have
the time.  Sending your complaints to the List does no good, and only
adds to the traffic on the internet, as well as burdening mail servers.
