Cindy - You *should* be able to code:

    exclude.fs /cabs?/data

and the like for other file systems, presuming that there is just the
one-character difference and that these are the ADSM filespace names.
You also say that you are at ADSM client V3.1.0.3.  If my reading is correct,
the latest client for HP is 3.1.0.7, so what you are running is quite
downlevel.  The later version may fix your problem, and in any case
that level will allow you to do 'dsmc Query INCLEXCL' to check
what you have coded.

When having problems with your current client level, see if there is a more
current level and try that rather than frustrating yourself (well, at least
at the old level).
