Sandy,

There are open APARs regarding problems with schedlog pruning in 3.1.0.7
IC24236 and IC24257.

I haven't implemented 3.1.0.7 because of this.

        Good morning Adsmers--

Notice some problems on dsmsched.log and dsmerror.log files. My
dsm.opt
file uses the following entries to prune the log.

        SCHEDLOGRETENTION 30
        ERRORLOGRETENTION 30

The log retention was working fine until lately upgraded to to
3.1.07.
Now the dsmsched.log has been pruned to have only 1 day entry with
months,
days been off. an example entry will be like this :"99 19:08:48
Session
        established with server ADSM: MVS"

The dsmerror.log been pruned to 1 day entry with some funny
characters in
        the beginning like the following:

         " << File: ATT23960.txt >> << File: ATT23961.txt >> << File:
ATT23962.txt >> << File: ATT23963.txt >> << File: ATT23964.txt >>
