Chris - Spreading out over multiple disks improves performance
        (more disk arms, potential for multiple I/O paths to the
disks, etc.) and reduces your recovery time if there is a bad
disk media spot.  In my shop, I readily adopt all the 2GB disks
that no one wants to use for other things, because they are ideal
in this way for the ADSM database (or any database for that matter).
