FW: Netware v4.11 client on ADSM v3.1
1999-07-14 16:05:56
Been there, done that. It's a feature. I haven't decided if it's an NDS
thing or a ADSM thing. We don't get it on just one Netware box when it does
occur. We will see it on a couple. we have about 60 total. Makes me think
it's a Netware issue. For the most part I re-enter the information and go on
my way.

And I've seen it create the new .pwd file but then ask for the
bloody
password the next time too.

I've read some older discussion on this..
Randomly on some of my Netware 4.11 clients, when the scheduled
backup
(incremental) begins, the session prompts for the
Netware user account and password when the .PWD file already exists
and has
been in use for some time. Whats causing this??
A new file is created and things resume once I respond to the
prompt.
Im running ADSM v3.1.2.0 on AIX 4.3.0
Netware client is v3.1.0.5
