Andrea,
This means that the file changed during processing and therefore adsm tries
again to back it up.

All of the documentation for the ADSM WIN32 Client is available online at

http://ssddom01.storage.ibm.com/techsup/swtechsup.nsf/support/adsmlink

There are links from here to the manuals aswell as to the ADSM performance
guide which has 'some' good suggestions for adsm settings (I don't agree
with them all).

        Hi all
        I'm new in this list and also in adsm.
        I'm setting some nt server with adsm client 3 and I don't understand
some log
        entries.

        07/01/1999 19:52:35 Normal File-->       234,045,440
        F:\notes\data\MAIL\AFONTANA.NSF  Changed
        07/01/1999 19:57:42 Retry # 1  Normal File-->       234,045,440
        F:\notes\data\MAIL\AFONTANA.NSF [Sent]

        What does it mean Retry # 1? The file is changed and adsm backups it
again?

        Where can I find some help about log and adsm setting?

        Thanks in advance

        Andrea
