the ExMerge utility can be found in the Microsoft BackOffice Resource Kit.
Although it is not officially supported it is excellently documented und
quite usefull not only for backing up selected mailboxes but to move users
between sites for example.
The current version should be 3.62 or higher. Check other Exchange Mailing
List for additional information.
