problem with tcaPath ?

I am getting an error message in the dsmerror.log which I believe has to do
 with using
users in dsm.sys.   --->     tcaPath is >/usr/bin/dsmtca<

We are using Adstar client Version 3, Release 1, Level 0.6 for Solaris
on an MVS Adstar Server Version 2, Release 1, Level 0.18.
I have tried set env variable DSM_DIR  which it says in the manual, but
that didn't help.

Anyone have a clue? tia
