As long as they have UNIX experience, use a small AIX box - either a 43P or
an F series.  There are many reasons I recommend ADSM on AIX solutions.
Take a look at the discussion archives from about a month ago (or longer)
for a detailed discussion about this topic:

Your tape solution will depend on the amount of data to be backed up, the
amount of data needed to be online in the library, whether you have a small
or large backup window, etc.
