Hi: We restored a complete drive C: to another (larger) harddrive
mounted as drive E:, both NTFS filesystems. Copied the boot.ini,
ntldr and ntdetect.com files, copied the registry files from adsm.sys,
switched the drives so E: becomes C: and tried to boot. The initial
NT boot menu showed, then came the normal blue screen that shows
during the boot then this message:
Corrupted or missing display_driver.dll ... and the boot stops.
We don't see this file on either hard drive. Can anyone offer a clue?
The original drive still boots fine (tho it only has 50 MB of free
space left).
Thanks.
