I realize this is just an example .. or is it?  So many factors go into the
number of "scattered" tapes: volume of data, change pattern,
reclamation point, ADSM policies, etc.  Letting backups run for a few
months (and then asking the ADSM server) may be the only way to
get an accurate number for any one server ... and that may change
over time!
