Donald,

You may want to consider upgrading the tape drives in your
7331 libraries to the latest 8mm drive technology which has
a capacity of 20/40gb per cartridge.   We measured its
transfer rate at 6 times faster than the 5/10gb 8mm drives.
This may turn out to be cost effective since you don't have
to replace the 7331s, just the drives.
