Hi,

in January it was reported, that Linux clients caused instability
to the ADSM server.

"Peter Jodda" wrote as conclusion:

OK, but this can't be the whole story. Today our Server crashed in the
following configuration:

Server: ADSM 3.1.1.5 on AIX 4.2.1

Client Version: Version 3, Release 1, Level 0.1
Client OS Level: Linux RH 6.0, Kernel Version 2.2.7 or 2.2.5-15
                                              ^^^^^ < 7 char's !!

and it is a non-hacker linux version.

/var/log/dsmserv.err shows:

Is there any fix - to either server or client - known ? We are facing a
lot of linux clients to upgrade...
