Ok john,
Run the folling command from the server directory of your adsm server
dsmserv extend log volume size
Where volume is the name of volume that has available space and zsize by how
much u want to extend the log.Once u have done this please let me know
Also in dsm.opt set the folloeing parameters so that u do not have problem like
this in feature
schedlogreten 10,d
errorlogreten 10,d
This command will let u retain log's for only ten days and delete eveything
beyond that
Do let me know whether problem is solved or not
thx

Hi, i am fairly new to ADSM and I need help. I am having trouble starting my
ADSM server which is on a 0S/390 mainframe. I am getting the following error
message :

I would like to use the dsmserv command but I am unable to because ADSM will
not start up on my OS/390. Is there away I can use the following utility
"dsmfmt" that runs outside the adsm server. If so, can someone please help
me with a guiding hand. I will be most gratefull. tks
