fyi: sql connect agent 1.1.1a

Hi,
Many of you may already be aware of this, but I didn't know. So, I figure
there is probably somebody else out there who could benefit from this
info...
When we first installed ADSM and all of our ADSM SQL Connect Agents
(1.1.0), I was informed that in order to run nightly scheduled backups you
need to call a batch file that lists EVERY database you wanted included in
the backup. For example:
%backupsql% /backupfull:master
%backupsql% /backupfull:model
%backupsql% /backupfull:blah
%backupsql% /backupfull:blah2
etc.
etc.
etc.
As you can imagine, when you start talking about multiple SQL servers with
many DBs on each this becomes an maintenance nightmare.
THE GOOD NEWS: I just discovered during testing on one of my SQL 7.0
servers running SQL Connect Agent 1.1.1a that I can now wild-card my
database names (i.e. /backupfull:*)!! (note: We went right to 1.1.1a from
1.1.0, so I don't know if this became possible somewhere in-between 1.1.0
and 1.1.1a.)
Hope this makes someone else as happy as it made me.
