I have a (new) customer who is reporting a strange backup occurrence.  He is

running a scheduled backup on an NT4 machine (scheduled through the NT
Service facility).  The backup is doing fine. seems to not have any problems,
and then he hits the following set of messages in the DSMSCHED.LOG:

The ANS1228E message is more or less informational. the sending of the object
failed.   What is confusing me is the ANS4028E message.  That message implies
that the file is trying to be created on the client; in other words, a
restore.  As stated earlier, this is a backup.  The error log messages would
seem to reinforce this.

As you can see from the log, after the retry processing has run its course,
the backup continues, and runs to a normal end.

Any suggestions on the cause of the problem?

PS.  The client is Version 3 level 5
