SQL BT does the compression, so ADSM compression must be turned off. I took
a look at compression, and it is indeed turned off, so the problem isn't
there.

When you say API trace, do you mean something different than an ADSM trace?
I did turn on
ADSM tracing by adding traceflags to the dsm.opt file. BMC support indicated
there was nothing
in the output that showed what was happening. If what you mean is different,
how would I enable
it?
