Our ADSM database is 32 Gb, and we are seeing anywhere between 2 GB/hr (for
small files) to 10 GB/hr for large database files.  We are running ADSM
v3.1.2.16 on OS/390 v2.5 on ATM based network.   Like Ludwig, performance
has improved significantly since the conversion from ADSM v2.

        Our ADSM database is over 29 gigabytes in size.  We also saw the
same bad performance when running V2 but since converting to V3.1.2.1 on our
OS/390 server and also V3 on the client side we have seen dramatic
performance improvements.

        Hi, 

        IBM told me today, that the reason for  our bad restore-performance
(20 files / 
        1MB  in 20 -30 min) is the size of the ADSM DB. 
        The ADSM-DB is about 11 GB / 50 % used on OS/390 . ADSM-Server ;
3.1.2.14. 


        Does anybody have good restore performance and a ADSM-DB in the same
size or 
        bigger.? 

        Does anybody know a max. size of ADSM-DB with good
restore-performance.
