Hi Rick ...
When building include/exclude statements, remember that ADSM reads them from the
bottom to the top. A general rule I use is to include the things I want at the
bottom and to exclude the things I don't want on the top. By reading it from
the bottom to top, you can test any file/directory to see if it will be backed
up or not. If the file/directory (reading from the bottom) fits into the in/ex
descriptor, then that file is either excluded or included depending on the
statement. Once that is done, ADSM moves onto the next file/dirrectory.

Subject: Backing up only a single directory
I am fairly new to ADSM. Does anyone know how to set up the domain and
include/exclude statements in the win32 backup client option file to only
backup a certain directory and everything in that directory (which could
include multiple subdirectories and their associated files)?
