Do you allow "EXPIRE INV" to run on its own or do you trigger it with
an administrative schedule ? ? ?
I never really see any "pending" 'cause I force run (via daily admin
schedule) an "expire inv" when it fits my needs plus I have a
reusedelay of 0 (so I can't really say if the expire inventory task
has much to do with the pending state)

Dwight

Shaun suggested that it is at the exact second that it went pending (plus
REUSEDELAY).
Tape 012236 went pending 03/28/1999 22:43:47
Tape 012236 went empty 04/01/1999 23:27:41
This is my point, if it had gone empty at 22:43 I would have brought it back
from offsite storage with the DRMEDIA MOVE that was issued at 04/01/1999 23:01.
