I believe this is only true for DFSMS 1.4 release only. All previous
releases use the ARCTVEXT. If you are using another tape management product
(CA-1, TLMS) the vendor will supply the ARCTVEXT source code.

Are you using DFRMM as tape managemnt tool ?

if yes, you have to code EDGTVEXT in your server option file
