hi everyone - please excuse me, i'm new to ADSM. i have an NT4.0  server
(sp3) running ADSM v3.1 with a
Scalar ADIC218 DLT library. runs seemlessly for the most part. a q vol
shows one of my volumes status
has changed to "empty" - attempts to check it in to the library fail with
the following:

ANR8443E  : Volume BK0011 in library ADIC218 cannot be assigned a status
of SCRATCH.

how can i check this tape in to the library, and how did it's status
change to "empty"?

Any thoughts on this would be appreciated.
