Dwight,

Thanks for the reply! I checked the accounting records and it appears that
there
are only 3 entries for when the sesions for my PC ended (usually after timing
out).
There doesn't seem to be any entry for when the archive started or ended. I
could be
wrong because I've never looked at the accounting records before, but for each
entry, there is a corresponding entry in the activity log that says "Session
terminated - idle for more than 15 minutes"

This following is what was displayed 63 times in the activity log:

03/17/99 14:13:51 ANE4952I (Sessio: 1487, Nod: ASLESINGER) Total number of
                       objects inspected: 248
03/17/99 14:13:51 ANE4953I (Sessio: 1487, Nod: ASLESINGER) Total number of
                       objects archived: 248
03/17/99 14:13:51 ANE4958I (Sessio: 1487, Nod: ASLESINGER) Total number of
                       objects updated: 0

                       transfer rate: 722.12 KB/sec
03/17/99 14:13:51 ANE4967I (Sessio: 1487, Nod: ASLESINGER) Aggregate data
                       transfer rate: 281.53 KB/sec
03/17/99 14:13:51 ANE4968I (Sessio: 1487, Nod: ASLESINGER) Objects
                       compressed by: 37%
03/17/99 14:13:51 ANE4964I (Sessio: 1487, Nod: ASLESINGER) Elapsed
                       processing time: 00:00:48

The processing time, number of objects inspected, and number of bytes
transferred
kept changing though. You know what? I just noticed that the three things I
just
mentioned all increased with each set of statistics. For example the number of
bytes transferred was 458B, 4.65KB, 21.90KB, 22.43KB, 29.45KB ... 87.04 MB.
Why
would it do something like this? I wonder if this has happened to anyone else?

If i could ask one more question: Where do I go to find out what the lables for
the
fields are in the accounting records?

thanks!
adam
