What mode is your recovery log in? Roll Forward or Normal? If Roll Forward,
you will need to have a larger recovery log.
From the symptoms, I would say you're in Normal, though. Try making your
recovery log larger. You will want to format a log volume using:
/opt/IBMadsm-s/bin/dsmfmt -log /logdir/log02.dsm 500
Where logdir is the place you're putting your ADSM stuff, and 500 is 500 MB.
Then in ADSM
adsm> define logvol /logdir/log02.dsm
adsm> extend log 500
If you are running server 3.1.2.13 you can skip the dsmfmt step and use
adsm> define logvol /logdir/log02.dsm formatsize=500
adsm> extend log 500
