You can have the ADSM scheduler issue a command to the client.
In the schedule, choose command instead of incremental. In the object
field of the schedule, point at a script: /usr/ADSM/backoracle.scr where
backoracle.scr has the command you need to execute for the backup.
ADSM does not have to control the schedule. Perhaps your control oriented
person running ADSM likes this, but ADSM couldn't care less. Perhaps your
control oriented person needs to have production systems explained to him.
