I think you mis-understand me.

I found out that using the WEB interface it is NOT possible to use for
example the ADMIN account (password: ADMIN).
I only can access the Client Accepter using the account <nodename>.

Is that true ?

Hi Johan!
Yes it is possible.
There are two requirements.
1) You must configure the client to use PASSWORD GENERATE.
2) You have to add the user to ADSM as an ADSM Administrator and give
him/here NODE access. So to allow user Johan to restore files on node
WINNTSRV you have to do the following:
1) REGISTER ADMIN JOHAN PASSWORD
2) GRANT AUTHORITY JOHAN CLASSES=NODE NODE=WINNTSRV
Administrator Johan is now created and he is allowed to restore files on
WINNTSRV.
