If i use the line you suggested, all available data containing tapes will
be destroyed also.
And that is not really what we want....

What I want is, if for example an export tape is removed, to insert a blank
new (not formatted) tape into the MagStar magazine and make it available
(and format it if neccesary) to the ADSM Server software.

Can you help me with that ?

This looks very similar to what I experienced.

Try:

label libv maglib labelsource=barcode checkin=scr overwrite=yes
