Old database backups still existing
1999-02-17 07:23:47
Hallo
With the command
select * from BACKUPS where node_name='B0D02402' and filespace_name='/P02'
I found out that a lot of database backups (dating back to 1997) are still
existing. Those backups were bound to the default management class KEEP. How can
I get rid of those old database backups.
Today the management class KEEP looks like this:
PRODUKTION:CURRENT:KEEP:STANDARD - Properties
---------------------------------------------
Policy domain : PRODUKTION
Policy domain : PRODUKTION
Policy set : CURRENT
Management class : KEEP
Copy group : STANDARD
Copy type : Backup
Last update by : RBS
Last update date/time : 02/16/1999 17:28:22
Copy mode : Modified
Copy serialization : Shared static
&Copy frequency : 0
Number of backup versions to keep
If client data exists : 8
If client data is deleted : 1
Length of time to retain extra backup version : 30
Length of time to retain only backup version : 30
&Destination storage pool : BACKUP_USER
