No.  I poked around looking for an option on a selective command to do what
you ask, but the only place serialization is defined is in the copy groups
within management classes.

Open files are a real buggaboo.  Sometimes, the OS won't let ADSM backup an
open file.  It really depends on the type of lock the application has on
the object.  For instance, even though serialization is dynamic, ADSM won't
backup some of the NT registry files.

Finally, backing up an open file isn't particularly interesting.  Restoring
a file that was backed up while open is the more interesting problem to be
solved.  Until you know you can restore such a file, it doesn't make much
sense to back it up.  I strongly recommend trying these restores until you
know the impact of such a strategy.  Remember, we backup in leisure and
restore in panic.  It's a really good idea to know what's going to happen
before it happens.
