That's the idea, I am trying to avoid the manual work!! of deleting the old
archives (over the last 16 versions). We want an archive every week (16
weeks/versions) besides the (8 file versions) daily backups !

Thanks.

Othonas

If they push 16 versions, there will be 16 versions, unless they or
     you delete them!

ARCHIVES are kept for a duration only... (0 or more copies)
if you have an archive retention of 35 and you push 3 copies of the
same "named" file daily, at the end of 35 days you will have 105
versions of the file, if you push 1 a day you will have 35, etc...

     later,
            Dwight

Hi everyone,
is there a way to define, or assign, or automate versions for Archive Copy
Groups ?
I am having a request for setting up archives and keep 16 versions weekly
versions of them, I am reading the documentation but I can't find anything
on archive versions, am I adsm_blind ? or ADSM doesn't support archive
versioning ?

Any ideas ?
