Here's one that has bugged me for a while. I have checked the List archives
and not encountered anything. Unfortunately, I am version 2.  Version 3
will be online when we convert to OS/390 in a couple of months.  Here is
the problem.

For tape processing (reclaimation, migration, etc) I usually specify two or
three migration processes.  Unfortunately, the prompts for the operators to
mount tapes appear one at a time.  For example, migration from disk pool to
tape pool has three processes assigned.  At tape mount appears on the MVS
console for one of the processes.  Once this tape has been mounted, then
the second tape mount appears on the console, and so on.

Here's another little tidbit.  On occasion I have noticed that certain
processes will "hang" if ADSM is waiting on a tape mount.  For example, a
migration from disk to tape in underway and is waiting for a scratch mount.
From my admin console, I enter the Q STG command.  The command may hang
until the operator mounts the pending scratch tape.

I have checked the server options file and can't find anything. And as I
indicated, my search of the archives didn't yield anything.

Any suggestions?  (Other than upgrade to version 3 and install a library.)
