Assuming:

You users back up to a disk pool, which then migrates to your 3570:

I think it's much easier to just use MOVE DATA, if you have enough bus
connections to have your old library and your new library attached to the
same host at the same time for a couple of weeks.

Just attach the new library; add appropriate ADSM definitions for LIBRARY,
DRIVES, and DEVCLASS.
Create a new tape storage pool(s) for the new library.

Now you have ADSM controlling both libraries.

Update the definition of your disk pool so that it will migrate to the new
tape storage pool instead of the old one.
That way any new tapes are created in the new library.

Now pick a volume in your old tape storage pool, and MOVE DATA to the new
tape storage pool.

ADSM will mount the old tape as input, and move all the data to the new tape
as output.

Repeat as needed for all the volumes.
You can issue several MOVE DATA's, and go to lunch.
If there are no drives free for the 2nd MOVE data, it just queues up and
kicks in when the first is finished.

Hope this is helpful.
