But I though that this would cause a lot of updates to be done, the actual
data haven't change and should not need to be backed up again..

Do you mean that this is a bug, or is it a feature?
If it's a feature it should be mentioned in the readme's somewhere. I have
not been able to find any info on this...

My OSF/1-klients have several 100s of GB of data on them, and millions of
files.
Neither my storagepools nor the DB would like all this to be doubled up
like this..
