For those of you who were hoping, the reports of my demise were greatly
exaggerated......

Actually I have never left the list, I have just been lurking in the shadows
since getting tapped to replace the project manager of the Y2K testing (and
if I ever get my hands on that guy for leaving....)

Seriously, I have a rather dumb SUN question..... We are testing
compatibility of the various clients, running the 2.1.0.7 on a Solaris
machine - I think it is 2.6, but I may be wrong there....

At any rate, Backup and restore have given us no problems, but for some
reason, when I Archive a file, we cannot retrieve them. We select a file, do
the Archive, and get a confirmation back that the file was archived. Then we
start the retrieve. We have tried various combinations.... By exact name,
including the path, by file name, with the "search subdirectories" box
checked, by description, by description using a wild card, but we always get
back "No files found" The file had just been archived, with a retention of
365 days. I have had no problems with archive and retrieve on other
platforms, so I have come to the conclusion that I must be doing something
stupid. Any suggestions on what it might be?
