Hi adsmsers...

I have just replaced all 4 eliant820 8mm tape drives in my Exabyte 480 tape 
library after advise from Exabyte.

Everything is now working fine EXCEPT all the drives do not allow me to label 
tapes.

An Exabyte engineer said that I now have to load an IBM device driver as these 
drives try and label in 8200 mode which it isnot capable of.

Apparently they can read anything from 8200(c) but cannot write at this setting.

Anyone out there know where I can get hold of a driver for my AIX 4.1.4 machine 
?

Has anyone come across this problem before ?
