There is an "undocumented" work around.  I just spoke to support and they
suggest putting the totime=now in the statement.

Tried it and it worked.  However, it only works for volumes listed with q
volhist type=dbb.  I had volumes that were not listed by q volhist and they
have to be moved to scratch manually.  Not sure why they were not list, but
it is not hard to clean them up.
