I would be interested in this as well for the same reasons on this platform
(I would essentially mirror my plan on our Novell and future UNIX platforms
for simplicity's sake). The budget may not easily handle the cost of DRM,
but we still need to have tapes sent offsite for disaster recovery
purposes. I've gotten a few things in place over the past two months, but
am still testing, and am not entirely certain that this is the best method
for what I'm trying to achieve.

I am trialing ADSM for NT.  I like the product but am not pleased with the
high price tag of the optional Disaster Recovery Manager feature.  I
basically need to:
rotate tapes offsite for disaster recovery
quickly restore my ADSM server after a disaster

Are there alternatives to using DRM?
