I would recomond the 3570 C-11 that is a magstar complient tape library
with 2 drives it holds 19 tapes plus an IO slot and a slot for a cleaning
tape... Very fast very reliable.. I had 1200 of them backing up remote
sites and they were error free.

I can't recomend a product, but I can tell you that we have been using
an Odetics 2/28 ATL for 11 months, and haven't had a single error or
problem.

We are running 3 DLT 4000 drives. The library is upgradable
to 4/52 (4 drives/52 slots) and will support DLT 4000 or 7000
Three drives are handy, allowing us to run reclimation and other
tape operations during the day, leaving one drive available for
restores.

One thing that inluenced or choice was that the library is supported
by ADSM base device support. Before you purchase a library, find out
if it requires advanced device support, it's expensive.
(We have to purchase advanced support if we want to expand from 28 to 52
slots.)

When we were looking for our library, I received a strong recomendation
for
Breece Hill, you might want to look them over.
