The retries occur one right after the other. If you need more time
you can increase the number of retries.

Hi all,
We have a customer who invokes their own backups of Oracle data.
The Managemnet class is setup to allow the data to be backed up if nothing
else is updating the data.
The client option file uses the default of 4 retries before failing the
backup.
Our customer is asking what is the default period of time between retries
and can that timespan be amended, if so how ?
The option 'Retryperiod' on client seems to be only valid with scheduled
commands.
Help required .......... Thanks
