If I remember correctly, the reduce command requires the space to be
available at the end of the database.  Your database could be fragmented
(did you used to have lots more data/nodes backed up?) and have records at
the end.  I believe someone else posted a while back that one way to
"defrag" it is to define another dbvol and then delete on of your others.
It will move the data to the new volume.

Please check this out (maybe search the list) before doing this however.
I'm relying on memory of what others have posted, not something I've
actually done, so this may not be 100% accurate.
