we noticed the following (server is MVS 3.1.1.3):

saying: dsmc incr,  we get an incremental backup of volume \\nodename\c$\
FOLLOWED BY an incremental backup of volume C: !!

If we say : dsmc incr C:, we get what we want, only ONE backup of C:

Saying incr without an object, increase the time of processing because adsm
makes a double scan of every file. When there is no file to backup, this
time is then doubled.

Is it logical? Is it a bug?
