Thank you for your reply Chris.  The MOUNTWAIT option is set to YES and the 
error still occurs.

Be sure to set the agent MOUNTWAIT option to yes.  Otherwise, you could get
this
error if the ADSM server needs to mount a tape to store the backup data.
