How many processors do you have in your machine?
Does your datarate increased upgrading backint 2.3?

My environment is:

ADSM Server 3.1.1.5
ADSM Client   2.1.10.7

Best Regards
Georges

Hallo Georges,

the parameter for backinit are:

cat init<sid>.utl

MAX_SESSIONS: xxx ==> Number of physikal drive
MULTIPLEXING: xxx ==> Number of Session per drive

I've two 3590, backint 2.3, aix4.1.5, sapdba 3.1F, MAX_SESSIONS=2
MULTIPLEXING=4
the datarate is about 30-35 GB/hour per Drive
