       I have had the same problem  by installing ADSM (3.1.0.5) on
       WINDOWS95.
       I have a C: and D: partition on my harddisk.
       Running setup.exe from D:\ADSMCLI\.. causes the same symptoms.

       Running setup from C:\ADSMCLI\...   and with a
       subdirectory C:\TEMP\,  works  fine.
