Hi all:
Not everyone has the luxury of having a system administrator manual
or attending a training.
FYI, ADSM classes is conducted once a year in Malaysia. (and the next one
will be sometime in Sept 99).

What I have is a 60 days ADSM evaluation copy. No documentation is
provided. I took my effort to download the redbook. And manage to configure
the server and web client. But the TFM doesn't explain in details.

I thought this forum is like the UNIX wizards when everybody is
friendly to help the newbies. Anyway, I appreciate your comments and
answers to my question.

Please drop me a note (off-list) if you are willing to help a newbie
like me.

Regards,
Hon Wai Wong

Subject: Re: howto backup to tape

Go and look up on device class in your administrator manuals - there
is a difference between being a newbie to ADSM (something we were
all at sometime in the past - some longer than others!), and just being
to lazy to read and learn!!!
Hope I'm not the only one feeling like this?
Should this list be the ADSM classroom for all newbies?
Cheers (And yes - this is supposed to be harsh...)
